I fail to understand why Locke does not consider texture or shape to be a secondary quality of objects. Touch is a sensation, hence texture. Shape can be described as much as color can. Locke describes color as the way an object deflects the light that enters our eyes and forms perceptions, but shape can be defined as a boundary problem in which the shape "ends" where light deflection of said object ceases to exist.
