I’m at the point where I have to consider if DNF is my option. If the thesis of the book is entirely dependent on the initial propositions argued in the first several chapters, and if those propositions are not successfully established (they are not), then is there any value exploring the subsequent propositions-the validity of which hangs on the veracity of what came before?
I truly expected better.

Sigh…..the deeper I get in the worse the reasoning and applied scholarship gets. What a disappointment.

This reads like one of those classic academic blunder papers in which the hyper intellectual person thinks and reasons so over-hard about basic concepts that he comes out the other end into the realm of just plane stupid. I truly did not expect this book to be this dumb.

Oh dear….oh no…. I was really hoping for a robust, contextually and textually based perspective of the conquest narrative from an informed and academic point of view…. This reads like a student thesis in which you have to stretch every tiny point to fit to defend your premise and meet your word count.
So few chapters in and it is already stupid… there is stupidity in this book. Precocious and stupid.

This is a difficult read that I will continue to push through as much as possible. I’m barely in the book and there is a vast amount that I whole heartedly disagree with. It seems the purpose of this book is to detail how current biblical translations are wrong.
