Status Updates From Berserk Volume 8

I wonder if it was a foreshadowing. I have a feeling that it was Griffith who took Guts’s left arm and right eye but I don’t know how or when. I’m scared. And Nosferatu Zodd said that the eclipse will come soon. I wish things stay as they are. I really can’t deal with how horrible it will be. I’m scared.

Casca standing in front of Guts this time is insane compared to how she drew her sword and was ready to kill him three years ago. I love how everything is different now. And she’s just started to wonder about her feelings for Guts. I’m sad. I cannot wait to start reading the next volume and see where they all end up.
P.S. Corkus’s comment about Griffith taking Guts’s arm made me scared that he’ll do it.

Judeau is so perceptive! I enjoyed his conversation with Guts at the inn a lot. I like him a lot. And Rickert and Pippin too. I’m not surprised that Corkus has hated Guts this whole time, I’m only surprised at the magnitude of it. To aim his crossbow at Guts’s back more than once during battle is insane. I hate him. I wonder if everything starts falling apart after Guts left. That’d be crazy to witness.

And it also says a lot about Griffith that he staked his hope on a strategy that could get Guts killed if he was off by a small margin. &the reason is that it’s better than not to have him at all. Griffith is quite insane. And very possessive. The shock on his face when he realized that he was beaten, and I’m guessing for the first time, was intense. I wouldn’t be surprised if that is where their enmity started

The Morning Departure chapters 1-3 were so good! The art is out of this world! And the panel composition was brilliant. And the story! What a masterpiece! Griffith challenging him to a duel yet again makes so much sense and parallels their first duel which started this whole thing. It was beautiful! Guts has grown so strong! But he stopped before harming Griffith. It speaks a lot about him that he didn’t do it.

I love Guts! And I really do understand why he wants to leave. But I fear that his fate is to continue fighting. I hope he’ll learn something along the way. I really do.

Griffith is so smart! I have a feeling that Minister Foss will one try to betray Griffith again. And I think he knows it. Guts doing all the dirty work and is fine with it. I love him so much. I hate how things have gone so bad in the present though I don’t know how.

Griffith is so good at this.

I love Guts and Casca so much! I wonder what other reason Guts is here. Things are going too well, i’m so scared.

What did Minister Foss receive? And from whom?

It’s good to see everyone be welcomed in victory! It was really nice. And I’m pretty sure Griffith had heard Charlotte but chose to ignore her. Why does Minister Foss want Griffith dead this badly? And now he’d gone and involved the queen herself in this conspiracy. If she had an affair with Julius (which ew!) it makes sense why she’d want revenge. And I was right she’s not Charlotte’s mother.

I love Guts and Casca so much! They’re the best. It was so cute when Guts carried her and ran. I love them. I’m glad that creep is dead, good riddance. And I was right, it was indeed Nosferatu Zodd who’s given Guts his weapon. But what does he mean “the eclipse will soon come. And the demon advent approaches” I’m scared!

Was that Nosferatu Zodd? The one who threw the blade to Guts? I believe it was him. I respect that. Casca killing that fool Adon was glorious! She’s so cool. And seeing the banners of the Band of the Hawk flying over that creep’s castle is great! What a beautiful sight!
