Status Updates From Hotel Silence

A child with no affinity for colour bc he's never been allowed blessing of seeing it. Only colours are not those of life but death. Black for smoke left by bombings, Red for the blood that flooded the streets. That is all this child knows. Not the blue of the sky he throws to the floor when his mother tries to give it to him: just black and red. Just smoke and blood. This is the extent of this child's worldview.

Really enjoying the lack of melodrama, considerations of methods are the same mundanity of one considering their lunch order which really resonates with me.
