I’m finally done. I was speed reading just wanting to get it over with. What a no plotter. What a bad relationship dynamic. Not enough enough strength and action to give us a little something. Ending all over the place just setting up future books. Should not have read this.

What happened to the plot? NOTHING is happening. The hero and heroine are both SO pathetic. They don’t resolve anything, caught in this damn loop. Then she was finally about to broach the topic but gets interrupted! Now there’s a cheap drama element and WTH happened to the plot we were introduced to at the beginning?? She’s done almost nothing since. F this is so f’ing annoying.

Sep 13 Didn’t read much at work. Got tired of their crap and couldn’t take any more. The pattern is so annoying. Having sex way too much at all the wrong times. Then the one time it would make sense to, they didn’t…You just want the characters to talk or do something. One stupid scene that was supposed to be funny and wasn’t. So much for her strength-always needs saying. Tired of the stupid journal entries each ch.

Now I see why I didn’t add this one on my to-read list. I would have stopped reading but I’m up to 4 DNF. Past marriage of the hero bad enough but disgustingly close to the heroine makes him taboo. This is like historical shit. How could the heroine ever be with him?? These are all the same. Constantly one upping the heroes, no consistency. Heroine had moments of strength but I know where it’s going.
