Wally has to return to a home he does NOT want to go back to.

And I can see why when his father doesn’t even acknowledge him until he accidentally breaks a dish.

I’m surprised Mr West went after Wally when he ran out into a storm.

But it’s a good thing he did as that was the catalyst for Wally to push himself to get his ‘second wind’!

Grandpa Ira and Wally share a sweet moment.

The Flash V2 #64 -
Wally’s first time dealing with a super-villain!

He doesn’t wait for the Flash to follow a mirror version of a man to Mirror Master’s lair.

Kid Flash is trapped but he does free himself and knocks out the villain in a fit of rage.

Flash is fine, but Wally may not be!

I don’t think the logic behind Wally’s inability to use his powers makes much sense, personally.

The Flash V2 #63 -
Flash is shocked Wally doesn’t have powers right away.
But when Wally runs, he runs!

The timeline of when things happen feels a little rushed to me.

The first day he’s there, Wally gets struck. Then as he’s going on his first run, he helps Flash with some crooks.

And then Flash immediately tailors and gives Wally a costume!

I can’t remember if Iris knows who Flash is.

The Flash V2 #62 -
You definitely see and feel the change in writers!

Wally meets up with his Grandpa Ira and remembers the summer he spent with Iris and Barry.

I can’t quite remember Wally’s origins Pre-Crisis but I think this changes it so that it was an accident Wally got super-speed, not that he was trying to force it.

I am SO excited for this new era of The Flash!

I was so tired of him being this mopey, jerk of a character that did barely anything but complain.

I know two major things that happen and I can’t wait!
