I was beginning to like it, and now I'm back to square one. His explanation of Aquinas and William of Oakham was fascinating, but he makes the classic mistake of post liberalism in mistaking the Enlightenment for the post-modern autonomism of the present day. His critique of Descartes is fair, though biased, yet his critique of Locke, Newton and the founding fathers is inaccurate, misleading and honestly sad.
