So Leanna won’t eat marshmallows because of the gelatin, seeing as she is a vegetarian, but she apparently has no qualms with picking the meat out of food dishes with meat cooked in them. Ummmm has this author ever spoken to, been around, or eaten with vegetarians? Seriously no vegetarian is gonna pick meat out of a meal that had meat cooked in it. Grrrrrr this book.

What parents in their right minds would leave a child in the custody of family members with a history of drug addiction????? This book is starting to make my blood boil.

His name is Garrison and he is an Army SSG... why do authors do this??? I don’t need a characters name tie to their work or personality. I hate when authors do that.

How who are these grown ass adult parents with a 27 year old daughter as well as a 9 year old with no life insurance or custody instructions in their will?!?!? Isn’t that like the first thing a couple does when they have a child???

Dead parents, a broken engagement, and a younger sister that needs a guardian, this book is already making my angsty heart sing.
