Easily one of the worst books I've read this year and I didn't even finished this shit.

I wanted to wait to finish this book before I formed a solid opinion - but the story is going in a very ominous direction. There's a fuckton of gaslighting, manipulation and emotional abuse from the alien male. Not at all what I expected.

I'm barely 36% in and I've already sobbed twice. I love these two 🥺💞 These books are making me FEEL

I feel like as time goes by I'm less a human, more a bag stuffed with alien/monster romances

I am absolutely, wildly impressed with Lancaster’s five-book series Ruth and Gron—I was completely immersed. This series has a lot of description and explaining, which bogs it down, making it boring, despite having a fascinating world and interesting characters with compelling problems. Abandoned. Will try book 3.
