Well, that turned ugly quickly. I was a bit scared for Tuck and Ash. Note to self: Do not go hiking in the SoCal desert/mountains, OMG.

At 50% in, the two men have finally fessed up to their feelings and are 7 days into their hike. Nothing much else has happened, but there are hints at something bad going on unbeknownst to them. It'll be interesting to see how the author will use the 2nd half of this book to develop and solve those hints.
