The Trip - Another starship tale, this one more serious. A woman tries to review her partner who is dying from an incurable illness from deep sleep to inhabit the ship's AI. Interesting with an old world feeling about it. I liked it.

Skinny Charlie's Orbiting Teepee - A light and amusing tale of an all Indigenous starship and the machinations to get a business up and going. I liked it.

Indigenous Wonderworks and the Settler-Colonial Imaginary - essay on cultural perceptions/appropriations of Indigenous people when conceiving fantasy and/or scifi. I loved/cosign this perspective. Not to appropriate, but the author speaks for lots of "others". The limited imagination afforded to other cultures. For indigenous people (per the author) it's spirit animals, ghosts, and magical realism. Smh

If a Bird Can Be a Ghost - really interesting tale about ghost. Had a modern day feel but the atmosphere was steeped in folklore. Not scary and I appreciated the role of family particularly the special relationship between grandmother and granddaughter. I liked it a lot. These stories are great so far!

Welcome to Your Authentic Indian Experience - A clever story about displacement and perspective. Played to and showcased stereotypes in a very effective way. I liked it alot.
