What a wackadoo surrealist fever dream. I'm struggling to know what is real and isn't or if any of it is or what is even happening. It's like everything is right there but not there at all. Marian is a dream.

This book is very very funny. I love the idea of the templars holding onto the holy grail in Ireland, but that’s the least absurd part of it. It comes off as wacky as Bataille’s story of the eye at times.
