it took me about a 100 pages for my brain to finally recalibrate and read smoothly. some of the strangest logic i've seen ever, not the best arguments but whatever. had to read for class

Chap 3: Explains modes of thought via circumstance, study, experience, etc., that scaffold the conception of trains of thought. Describes the bounds of these trains with finitude or infinitude; the infinitude labelled incomprehensible in its bounds, this incomprehensibility called God.

Chap 2: Describes various impressions on man that enact them into motion, and that motion also impresses into man. Impressions being memory, understanding, dreams, etc., any pressure endured by any of the senses that retain and filter through the levels of man’s interpretations on objects and subjects.

First chap: Reflecting the physical body and physiology to a political state. I always appreciate these parallels being made when talking about more abstract things like law or ethics, etc. It’s Old English! Hoping to get a more unabridged text with this.
