I love this series. This was the first series that introduced me to cozy mysteries. My mom suggested this series to me decades ago and I have read the whole series. Thanks to my local public library and the Inerlibrary Loan program in my province I have been able to read them all (a few of the novels I did buy). The series begins with Joe Grey a cat who realizes he can talk. Over the years he finds more cats who talk

Just started chapter 20 and this murder mystery has me fully hooked. The clues are quietly unfolding, the tension builds without losing its warmth, and characters feel real and layered.

I’m only partway through Cat Chase the Moon, and the mystery is unfolding in a quiet, atmospheric way. There’s a gentle tension beneath the calm, and each chapter leaves me a little more curious—and a little more emotionally invested. Thoughtful, subtle, and surprisingly affecting so far.
