It is unsurprising that I am loving this book as much as I thought I would! However, what is surprising is how absolutely relatable this book is to me. Not that I have lived this kind of life but this author has done such a good job of capturing the lives of poverty within the Appalachian region. As a resident of Appalachia who has forever witnessed that kind of life...hats off to this author!
