OMG this is hilarious. I know that sounds weird for a dark romance but... she thinks she's part of a consentual paid kidnapping arrangement but he is a real kidnapper so it's just sort of hilarious because she thinks she's playing a role but she's really kidnapped. But like hilarious in a good way because this story is so crazy (in a good way)

one of my readers recc'd this to me. OMFG this is sort of in a similar vein to the book I just finished. A mistaken identity kidnapping situation. She's a high paid escort who takes on kinky jobs. She's basically signed on to a 39 day kidnap scenario. But she gets taken by a DIFFERENT guy, and ACTUAL kidnapper. But omg this is just... omg haha. You have to read it. (or listen. I'm listening.)
