Status Updates From Fundamentals of Sailing, Cr...

Over & over, I read the 1st third of this book on poor sailing days, because reading on the water makes me seasick, and my aging brain doesn't remember technical details like it once did. Read, sail, screw up, repeat.

Once again, I have painted myself into a corner of too many books lying around, open on the last page I read. Bad for the spines. Bad for my overdue fines. I will be checking this one out again.

So far, way better than Starting Sailing. Colgate doesn't expect his reader to know anything about sailing, or even boats, but still manages to convey his enthusiasm and love for the art in a way that makes you sure he's inviting you into his club.
