Status Updates From Sam Darling Cozy Set of Six...

I'm into the third book. I really don't like the main character. She is a therapist, a mother, a big sister who raised her younger siblings after their parents died unexpectedly, yet she can't make a decision to act in their best interest EVER! There is a scene where the main character engages in a fight for her life with a gunman and her daughter is home and there's no mention of her when shots rang out?

I finished the first book in this box set of six. The heroine is really stupid, reckless and immature. I'm unsure how one is to juxtapose her inadequate sleuthing and dating skills with her job as a therapist. There is so much opportunity for her to use her skills and yet she doesn't. And she neglects the few clients she has. There is so much room for this character to get better. I may stop here.

I'm 12 percent through the first book of a set of 5 or so. I'm not going to make it! I clearly didn't read the description properly. Main character speaks of vibes, feelings like she's psychic but she's too stupid to believe her fainting, nausea nuttiness. I'm going to a true through because the murder is interesting, the mystery is intriguing - I'd just wish the main character would shut up!
