The chapter in which the author resurrects a legendary Durham gay bar so that his protagonist can go there probably is going to make this my favorite of the series. Much is made of how funny these books are but they're also quite sage, keenly observant, and reflective.

I didn't mention it in my review of the prior book in this series (though that is the one in which it was introduced) but I am loving the chapter epigraphs.

I love that this takes place in the city where I live. A scene just happened right near my neighborhood!

I always find the second half of a book is faster reading, but THIS book is going by at vampire super-speed! I will be truly sad when it ends!

OMG that BASIC joke. I love the portrayal of technopagans here. This book is enthralling and hilarious and action-packed. Unmissable.

Started this today, so glad to be back in Withrow's world. Sometimes you just have to stop and marvel at some of these beautiful sentences and ideas in between the great characters and the plot. So dry and astute. *shakes head in amazement*
