It was a little disappointing that the intro chose to use Clojure Builtins against hand written Java; they completely missed the opportunity to demonstrate how functional code can build logical constructions. Otherwise, mostly fine Scala introduction thus far, but also literally not what I’m reading it for haha. The mix of styles is also odd…
