I’m struggling. I just texted my daughter/ book homie: the main FMC is so stupid she could drown in a light rain. I thought she’d get some gumption by the last 20% or so but it’s almost like she’s regressed to 13, but she forgot she just turned 18! (Actual thing that just happened in book)So odd. So much navel gazing.

How is this FMC so very awful?? I figure I’m almost done but it’s pretty painful.

Interesting concept but extremely YA. Not sure if I’ll finish. I wasn’t expecting the young young 17 almost 28 yo FMC.
