Not done reading for today, but cannot not comment how frustrating it is to read Grace’s opinion on Germans, how she assumes the whole country is bad people. Seen this a lot on tik tok when Russian Ukrainian was started, how people assumed whole civilization of Russia is bad people. This is annoying, and not right. Personally, I’m siding with Grace’s parents, they’re so right about it.

As far as I understand, it’s strangers to lovers to enemies to lovers, but in historical fiction? I need more free time for reading💔
