Based on my Audible app, I've already completed the audiobook, but I don't even remember how it ended 🤔, so I'm re-listening to the last three chapters. 😅

Am quite enjoying this but Iris has just visited solicitor who thinks has to give 18 year old Jasper control of all his finances. At this time the age of majority was 21 so he would not have been able to get control. This did not change until 1969.

I guess I should give Iris the benefit of the doubt a bit more. Poor girl has grown up without parents, and had to raise a 10 year old boy. Can confirm that teenager boys are entirely unreasonable. So maybe her situation isn't so far fetched.

I feel like this could be a great book but as of this moment, Iris is acting dumb as a box of rocks.
