Status Updates From Jagged Edge

I am over 4 hours into reading and I’m getting so fucking frustrated. I’m very close to not finishing but don’t want my money to go to waste. I will NEVER choose this author in. 4 hours and the plot is BARELY moving. Characters spend more time talking to themselves and ignoring people they are supposed to be talking to. No character development or significant progress with either love interest. So damn annoying

Ugh I'm so close to DNFing this and I'm so fucking upset about it. I wanted dark MM romance and Teddy Hamilton. This book was supposed to scratch that itch. The writing is ok, I'm just frustrated by how repetitious some parts are. yes, I get it, you already mentioned that five times in the last five chapters. I'm hanging on by my teeth right now, I've only DNF'd one book out of 85 this yr, get to the point asshat

This is a really tough read. There should be trigger warnings for sure…. And I’m not positive this can be called a romance book…

This book is ripping my heart out, grinding it into chile, and FORCE FEEDING IT TO ME.
