I've read Larkin's God's Of The Ragnarok Era series & enjoyed it. I'm familiar with the story of Hervor, so I wanted to see his take on it. It's good, so far, but I'm having trouble remembering some of the characters' histories from previous books (Starkad, for instance). There were so many & it's been a couple years since I first read them. I checked the author's website but it doesn't give much detail. Ohwell.

I'm already having second thoughts about finishing this. The Female main character keeps killing innocent people but is scared of shedding her own blood😒. As for the male main character, women are his worst enemy; like every woman is a b* to him😦.
