It’s just not that well written. I’m sloughing through but already there have been three deaths and one of the main characters has fallen in love and gotten engaged and there has been zero attention to emotion or character development. I don’t know how to explain it but it’s like the author says the character is in love and that’s somehow enough to move things along. Not sure if I’ll finish this one.
