Ook vind ik het onrealistisch hoe Nina haar familie niet mist en alles maar accepteert en verliefd wordt op Julian. Ook de tijdssprong van ‘one year later’ is raar. Alsof ze een heel jaar de routine heeft volgehouden zonder moeite en nu haar nieuwe leven helemaal gewend is. Niet echt dark romance vibes.

Opzich wel prima. Ik moet zeggen dat het niet echt dark romance is. Het is niet dark. Het meisje is verwend, en lijkt een relatie te hebben met Julian. Ook heel random nu die maffia bende. Alsof de spanning nu gaat om wegvluchten van de maffia ipv dark romance…

The book had my attention immediately. Easy to follow thanks to the writing style. Love the tension already and the explicit scene. As a reader, I really want to keep reading because of the tension it holds. Not boring or ‘langdradig’.
