- Turns out I had to read 2 more pages to find out what the deal was with Ravenlock. I questioned it too soon😂
- I’m pushing through this reading slump that’s been building for weeks and I’m going to finish this really soon, hopefully even tomorrow.
- Aaw Willa and Bertie are so CUTE. They’re adorable, who doesn’t love the first sprinkling of sweet, young love?

- What is Ravenlock’s issue? How does he know stuff he shouldn’t know? Is he psychic? I kinda wish the new code-cracking team reached out for his help instead of Tiffany’s.
- Considering Tiffany seemed to like Willa and she’s stuck up enough to probably not like Bertie regardless of whether they’re related, wouldn’t it make more sense for her to ask for Tiffany’s help instead of Bertie?

- Nimet Simit is a darling and I love her. The way she freaked out about being in a boy’s room was hilarious😂😂
- So on top of the mysteries of Willa’s endangered timeline, the Clockwerk Boy’s memories, and the involvement of the time-travelling, prophecy-wielding dragons, we now also have the mystery of whatever the hell Heathcliff’s dad is up to. I have a feeling they could all be connected...

- Hold on a minute. Talking dragons? A prophecy? TIME TRAVEL?! *rubs hands eagerly together* Now we’re talking!
- I have to say as a Doctor Who fan that I very much appreciate the amount of importance that’s being given to fezzes in this. They absolutely do deserve this level of recognition. Even if the Order of the Black Fez turn out to be bad guys I still love it for its fez inclusion.

- I didn’t entirely follow the whole Idiot and Genius explanation but it’s ok because I have a feeling there’s going to be a lot more of it throughout.
- The asides from Willa are sometimes funny but a little confusing.
- I loved the way Heather appeared out of nowhere and started shouting technical terms that made no sense😂
- The great thing about Steampunk are all the crazy inventions!
