Finn is a complete and total ass.

Finally it got better. Finally a real story:)

Now back to you. So far this was boring, let's hope it gets better soon.

This is where Lane Hayes' penchant for only having one POV in her books doesn't help, because it is hard to get a read on Finn because he's so private and squirrelly, and because he's like that with Josh, Josh doesn't know him well and so we don't know him well. If we had his POV I bet it would feel so much different.

I am starting to become as frustrated as Josh is about why these two haven't been a couple for the last year. I really don't understand what is keeping them apart. I am either forgetting something significant from a previous book or, we're being kept in the dark on purpose and when the reason is revealed, it's going to feel like an awfully thin excuse that only (partially) works in fiction.

Oh no, no, no! I am starting to get the impression that if myself and this MC met in real life, we'd have to throw down over our philosophies about the place of museums and the function(s) they serve in society.

*side eyes Josh*

Laughter in the galleries = conversation and engagement with the material and making connections to their own lives and experiences = good.

Whaaaaat?! No one EVER writes about museum curators! The job struggle is real y'all; I feel this man's pain as if he were me circa 2013.

Is it weird that I don't want the main character to hook up with this Finn guy? There is no chemistry and everything in this book is lackluster.
