I was okay with their dynamic until this last chapter. It's slightly uncomfortable and I am confused by the age selection for Witch.

This is the first point I feel like we are finally getting a cohesive story going

"She didn’t try to be mysterious, she simply was. She walked in full sunlight shrouded in a midnight mist that swirled around her, hiding, revealing, tantalizing, frightening."

A lovely voice. A voice that could wash over a man and heal deep wounds of the heart.

This is the slowest book I have ever read (like a single chapter a night) and I can't decide if I am enamored with it or actually despise it. I have never been more conflicted.

I don't think I was in the right head space when I initially read this so I am picking this back up. It is crazy the amount of similarities to ACOTAR and I've heard SJM was inspired by this series.
