Status Updates From Suitors and Sabotage

Why does this author insist on using inaccurate period names?? And why are the accurate names given inaccurate abbreviations??? There's a Matt, a Greg, and a Jake. I'm so exasperated.

Reading this book on a dare from a friend. Not caring for it all presently, and offended that one reviewer said it was better than my girl, Georgette Heyer.

I’m trying soooooo hard to finish this book, but the plot isn’t making it easy. I feel like it’s just so slow. I keep telling myself I’m almost there so I AM going to finish!
