Understandable to an extent, but so far, much more the biography of Edward IV than Richard III. No one in the 15th-16th century English court was very likeable. Why am I reading this again?

Het frustrerende van dit boek is dat het een droge beschrijving van feiten is. Ik heb nog steeds geen idee van de man die Richard III is. Alles lijkt voornamelijk over zijn broer Edward IV tot nu toe te gaan. Ik snap dat we weinig bronnen hebben, maar het is nogal frustrerend. Wel knap dat Skidmore grotendeels zo onpartijdig blijft in deze controversiële kwestie.

Ik ga niet liegen; dit is behoorlijk saai. Helpt niet dat dit niet mijn eeuw is en ik geen idee heb wie al die adellijke families zijn (hoeveel edellieden in Engeland ZIJN er?)
