this is totally written like the start of a motivational speech so i’m not surprised that’s what the author is doing now LOL

This reading has opened my eyes to all the little things you wouldn't think about affects a homeless person growing up in San Diego. As someone who comes from working with volunteers and the volunteer department, it's important to engage in service while maintaining people's dignity. I just can't express enough how much the importance of serving with dignity can mean to someone. We all have our own privileges.

Curious to see how him and his family became homeless. As of right now I feel as if he’s speaking in circles about the homeless community and while i would never dismiss his experience there are a few gaps in this that I’m hoping he fills as I read further along.
