going on to book 3: my guy is officially crazy. like, he hid in some underground corridor system to FLASH women (apparently because the explicitness of it is very vague) because he was idle and “overflowing with life”. he only managed to get his shit together after M. Gaimes took him in as a pupil and started putting some common sense into his head

So… he was sexually harassed by a North-African Jewish man in the hospice. Their baptism to the Catholic Church was different - the harasser got to wear all white clothing while Rousseau wore a gray one - because R did not have “the privilege of being a Jew” which I thought was an odd sentence. but right after he got into a kinky platonic relationship with the wife of a soldier who lodged him for a penny or two

vi måste bara läsa bok 1-3 för den här kursen och ja herregud. Tror inte jag kommer läsa hela bara för skojs skull direkt. (Kul att han använder en hel sida med omskrivningar för att säga typ "jag började runka regelbundet", dock?)
