Status Updates From Once Upon a Time Travel

tbh though
ive already forgotten the majority of what i read

however
i think its kind of a good thing bc what i do remember are certain images some scenes in this book left behind in my mind

if nothing else
this reread has helpfully renewed my craving of this genre
and ill go back to rereading what ive read before

and
maybe get fresher eyes on them like i did here

just skimmed the rest of this authors books on this app
and it unfortunately for me seems like this book is the standout
for the regency/ time traveling romance i prefer

so i likely wont be reading anything else by this author

another praise
i think for sure this book could be added to my comfort reads shelf/tag

though i do appreciate the pink dress and his white cravat at least being book accurate
so many shit books have shit cover photos that have no connections its infuriating

the highest praise i can give this book
is i wanted more

it was good enough that i was craving more

i would have enjoyed it more if it was able to dive even deeper and longer

bc i was surprised i liked this as much as i did

remembering things as i went along

most notably the ice cream/heimlich scene ofc

oh and charles the mvp aunt

this fmc was fine
she had a handful of good lines and moments on top of enjoyable characteristics (after the hurdles of her introduction and time traveling adjusting nonsense where she was being the annoying stereotype)

this was a reread i finished in
gosh i already forgot bc i was juggling two books as well as skimming a few other rereads

i forget if i started this reread yesterday
or if i finished it in a day

its five am now

i didnt recall this book at all based on the cover photo and book title or author

i seemed to have rated this three stars initially and now i concur with that previous assessment
