Status Updates From Spellhacker

I’m really disliking our narrator. And I get that she’s meant to be an anti-hero but like, MY GOSH

So far I think I would prefer this story in podcast form. And not just audio book. I’m thinking like “Vega” and “We Fix Space Junk”. Maybe that’s how I’m starting to prefer sci-fi stories; but I want the “Badass Illegal Funtimes playlist” in the background and sound effects, and voice actors rather than just narration… I think this story would translate nicely

This honestly might become a DNF. Not that I think it’s bad, I’m just not vibing with it like I had with the author’s other works and I’m trying to be better about not forcing myself to finish every book I start
