Status Updates From Little & Lion

The author is really trying too hard to cram so many themes in one story! So far there is racism, mixed race couples, biracial children, physical disabilities, lgbtq+ references and mental health struggles. Maybe others I missed. They are all described more clinically than I would expect in a YA book. These themes could exist all together but I would prefer maybe one or two per book. This is a lot to unpack…
