Jeff’s super negative. I wonder why he’s so keyed up in public spaces. Something happen to him? Ms Babineaux seems a bit insubstantial. Glenn’s a bit witchy. Louise seems nice. I guess Jeff must be cute. It states he looks younger than he is, so I might not be imagining him right. I see him as Tim McBain.

I don’t connect with Jeff. If he feels pain, I don’t feel it. He’s disconnected & emotionally anaesthetized. Allie & Amity’s names have the same initial & final vowel sounds. I want to know what happened to juvenile Death.

The moving parts: of the puzzle, something Ms Babineaux says, the airport. The repetition of this phrase. Significant? I think so, but I have to see. I don’t trust Glenn. I think he knows way more about Amity’s disappearance than he’s letting on. I think her interest in the occult was due to his influence. I think Jeff is in a snare, maybe not to harm him, but to hold him in place.

I really think Death is Jeff. Ms Babineaux's odd remark about there being "too many moving parts" is like a reference to the puzzle.

I imagine Glenn Floyd being played by that man in Hellboy.

I want to see that hooded attacker's face. I bet he looks just like Jeff. I want to see if there's more to Mardy than meets the eye because he doesn't seem fazed by what seems to have been going on.

Just started Chapter 3. Jeff Grobnagger seems to be stuck in the position of The Hanged man of the Major Arcana. He's had about 7 run-ins with Death. Just met Glenn Floyd, who wants his help to locate his missing daughter Amity. Starting to get interesting now. Curious about what preceded triggered his seizures. He used to gamble. Some link with cards?
