Duke 2 stars: I hate to say this but I don't like Duke or Emily at all.
For a peaceful society, the A’li-uud are bloodthirsty. They had no idea if humans actually did pose a threat to them before shooting down one of their ships in the previous story and now showing up on Earth and killing everyone they find.
This series is listed as science fiction romance but so far there is nothing romantic about this.

Rex 2 1/2 stars: I don't like Tabitha or Rex much. The world building is lacking. In a nutshell, Humans are evil, greedy, murderous invaders but Albaterrans are peaceful, loving, respect nature.
