Magnus split up with Mallory and Sam. They both defeated giants and he had help from crows. They make it back to the ship and sail to Niflheim. They’re all freezing and have to make their way ashore, Alex kisses Magnus. This helps him continue on but they’re met with Skadi. Magnus explains the plan to her and she thinks it should work to stop Loki, but also warns him after he stops Loki that he’ll likely die

Mallory runs after this old lady, Magnus and Sam both follow her. Mallory thinks it’s Loki but found out who she held this hate for was her mother. Then, they’re directed to get the mead and Mallory outsmarts the slaves to get them to kill themselves going for the stone. To get the mead they get help from Gunlop, who is being held hostage. They get it but the two eagles are there to kill the group.
