Damn, Fosse is truly dead. And Trask?

I'm so glad Fosse is really dead. Now, I just need to know Trask is okay, and whose culpable for Fosse's murder. Hitomi's interesting, because it's implied that she's capable of far more than we've seen/been shown. I'm starting to appreciate Da morew. She's like the Laura Holt to Braddock's Remmington Steele.

If it wasn't the Wattana who did Fosse in...(If I were Dolan, I would avoid Thailand, unless he's employs a different name when there).

What if Trask really is in Tokyo??? I'm glad the evil one is dead. He can't possibly have had a good twin brother who died in his place. Can he?

Braddock is so carelessly rude with those in authority! Personally, I think that's foolish. I really hope the evil one is dead. but I can't be certain yet.

I hope Trask is okay. If not, I hope Hitomi rescues him.

Is the evil one really dead, or just Bhumipol-dead? If it’s the former, I applaud Trask. As for why Hitomi could see through the Fosse, she’s just clear-sighted and knows truth from falsehood.

Trask’s attribution of relevance/importance is skewed. It’s pretty significant if Fosse went with a minor, even if the “minor” was not actually a minor, but looked like one. However, Trask’s judgement isn’t good.

I love how wrong Trask is, yet how that wrongness actually paints Fosse in a more accurate light. Trask really has PTSD. He’s on no shape to be doing something like this.

Damn, Trask was sloppy! He could have left that memo at the hotel room. And did it have to be so explicit? Mentally, he’s not in good shape.

I’m pessimistic about Fosse’s schemes. I think Reichenbach is playing him deeper than he appreciates. How could Trask, a soldier, be so careless as to have that notebook with those notes on him? I suspect Fosse was meant to find them, that Reichenbach specifically instructed him to take those notes in Fosse’s sight so that Fosse would be impelled to read the notebook.

Fosse is a more interesting and enjoyable narrator than Braddock, whose self-loathing is nauseating. One of Fosse's major weaknesses is his need to win. I also think he underestimates others. I wonder if Mananya and Som are more deeply involved than is socially acceptable. Fosse does not sound physically attractive and doesn't seem motivated to maintain his body to a particularly high standard.

Fosse! For some reason, I’d renamed him Janus. I think Fosse would do better to quit the hard liquor if he’s trying to get his pulse/blood pressure down. And you don’t need to go to the gymn to stay/get in shape. Still, he’s lost weight on his “Asian diet”.

The first in the Children Of Karma series, Restless Earth has longer chapters than is typical of the novels that comprise the Time, Blood And Karma series. The threads of the characters’ lives are pulling together. I think that horrible Janus might show up in the month named after that god. I think/hope Trask will emerge from all this unscathed.

Was that really written by the psychiatrist’s “dead brother”? Is Becky having an affair? Where is the discharged psychopath?

Wonder how/who this will connect with Braddock.

I wonder who called Akira. Wayan has more than her fair share of secrets. I think Braddock should read his dad’s manuscript ASAP.

Anna’s situation is still not clear to Braddock. I didn’t realize Bhumipol was named after a king! Braddock’s smoking & drinking are making me feel ill. Da sounds really dynamic, but I don’t think she’ll get her own series. I’ve no idea what secrets Braddock senior might be revealing.

Is truth a woman? Which one??
