I rarely dnf a book because of an off-color remark, even when maybe I should, because I'm an insatiable hungry hungry hippo whore for content. I do not claim to be a good person. Context makes a difference in how easily I can pretend a thing didn't happen. It matters to me whether the remark/slur comes from the narration or the dialogue. All that said, if I read "mexi-bitch" one more time and no one gets slapped.....

I'm not overly thrilled about the continuation of this series, but I love the audiobooks! So we'll see how we go just listening to it to and from work.
