I also really liked how there wasn't much drama, as the focus was on Michael battling his demons in relation to the shooting a year ago. And even when he tried to push Em away, she was having none of it, which means we didn't exactly get a third act breaking, which was very much appreciated! :D

Well this was super enjoyable. Michael was such a lovable yet deeply traumatized MMC, and Em was so strong for standing by his side and helping him at his darkest times. It was obvious how much they liked one another from their first meeting, and that only blossomed into something deeper as the story came along. Now I just need to get my hands on his brothers' books ;)

Michael seeking out a psychologist to talk about his trauma by himself, and letting Em be part of his journey, makes me so happy. Sure, they hit a bump a bit ago, but they're working through it together, which is nice to see. Michael could've easily pushed Em away again, but he realized he'd rather have her by his side than do this alone. Smart man :)

Michael's obvious PTSD hurts my heart :( The fact that his ex, his producer whatever her name is, is treating what he went through as nothing more than an "unfortunate accident" and painting Michael as a sexy hero, when someone DIED, is also so so wrong. Poor Michael is very much alone in this, and he refuses to really let anyone in :((

So far Trent is an asshole (and I glad Emily finally kicked out his ass), Emily is kinda great, and Michael is a big softy (who obviously has PTSD from what he experienced at the daycare 1 year ago). Bit now that Trent out out of the picture, I can't wait for Michael and Em's relationship to grow into something more than friendship :)
