Skipping around to essays of interest. Convoluted writing style; run on sentences; big ideas yet author’s attempts at levity require knowledge of his contemporary issues to understand. His “persuasion” sometimes conveniently ignores economic principles, for example he fails to reference like Gresham’s Law when arguing against a gold standard.

Mixed bag of essays. Some seem basically irrelevant to the contemporary reader, others are decent, but I can't say that I've been blown away by anything. The work on Russia and politics is moderately interesting, the stuff on the war is okay, but the stuff on monetary policy is very uneven. Also, the essay that claims we should be working 3 hours a day in the future is totally misrepresented by modern intellectuals
