Antagonist
Janie and Reggie are up agents the velhethen. The velhethen is an entrusting colonies from a different demention. They are trying to attack peaceful towns to coloect something. A jem. Once everyone used to be just one colonies until they split up. they each got one jem when they separated for war. If all the jems are put together there could be dire consequence.

In my book there are two protagonist Janie Rutland and her best friend Reggie Rankin. They have a lot of similarities but it doesn't seem like they'd be friends. Janie is the quite kid at Franklin intermediate. She's been there since sixth grade but everyone thinks she's new. She doesn't have any friends and always sits alone. Reggie just moved here from Texas. Hes new to the school and also doesn't have any friends.

Protagonist
The protagonist in my book is Janie. She is a twelve year old who goes to Franklin intermediate school. She has been hear for a while but her new best friend hasn't. The typical loser new boy named Reggie Rankin

Summery:
Janie and Reggie just came into a new world, with a new tour Gide. In this world there learning about how the people live and defend themselves. There in a constant war with the Shuni Empire. They're losing now but not for long. The tour Gide is training them on defense mechanisms and how to train for war. Its gonna be a long and hard battle, will they be able to win?

Purpose and Audience

I think my book is meant for people in 7th grade to 10th grade. The worlds next door is a mystery about another world. The two main characters go on adventures through different realms. They travel through space and time to solve a problem one they solve one another comes up.

My book is about a girl Janie and her friend Reggie. Janie lives near an old abandon house. Every night when she turns of her lights she can see the reflection of light from the house next door but every time she looks, they turn off. Janie and Reggie skipped school to explore the house. They left to go on the adventure then the chapter ended. I predict they will find something shocking in the house

I am loving this book. I'm listening to the audio version and it is making me want to own the paperback so I can more easily re-read my favorite bits and find some of the quotes that I have found to be super powerful and beautiful.

This author definitely knows what real 12 year olds are like, as evidenced by the snoring scene. XD

This is a very interesting/creative world the author has imagined. I'm very curious how things are going to work out.
