Checking this out after finding a free audiobook on YouTube. My adult brain is reading some heavy metaphor that probably wasn’t intended.

I found a used copy of this book on sale for 10 cents at the public library recently - I never read it as a child but heard an excerpt read on youtube and fell in love with the story- I will be giving this book to my grandkids after I finish reading it.
