25 years later Ellen has a new life, married with 2 children. On the night of her senior prom her daughter Amy reveals to her boyfriend Jerry that she is pregnant, a pregnancy that neither of them want. Amy suggests an abortion for which Jerry refuses to pay for. A heated argument ensues and harsh words were exchanged culminating in Jerry wishing the baby be born abnormal. Amy is dreading telling her parents.
