This is tedious. I know Callista is SO pretty, I am told this pretty much every other paragraph. At this point, if this isn't a lesbian book, I'll be disappointed. Emma's obsession with Callista's beauty is getting boring.

Not gonna lie. It is meh.

Definitely a coming of age story. We will see how it comes along.

There's a lot of hand-waving over practical stuff after one loses one's parents like inheritance, debts, cutting of utilities, etc. And, Emma is supposed to be 18, a legal adult, but she is treated as is she is still a minor.

I can't say that I liked this book. I actually had to force myself to finish it. Nothing actually happens. There's a lot of redundancy but no plot or twist really. I felt that the book was being drawn-out with half truths and "we'll tell you later". The information flow felt forced and a lot of the details were irrelevant.
