That last chapter was surprisingly boring for a sci-fi novel. I liked it, don't get me wrong, but it was deep, thoughtful literature, and I don't expect that from science fiction, or should I say, I don't want it in my sci-fi. I'm here for the strange and unusual, so when the author gets real and projects themes and theories, I take a step back and ask myself what I'm reading, meaning my immersion broke. I'm weird...

ITS A ROADSIDE PICNIC

Definitely the kind of book that you need to make sure you understand every word written as it all matters. It's very dialogue and character driven. The world built here is amazing and you can feel the symbolism leaking through every talk abt their life there and how society operates. Awesome book I cannot wait to watch the movie!!
