Status Updates From Crime Lord Series

The h is so incredibly naive, stupid, and of low intelligence…that I just don’t like her. She is so resistant and dumb that I don’t feel sorry for her. I just think she is dumb.

I have problems with the h because she is so resistant it makes it difficult to feel any chemistry between the H/h.

Not that there was anything wrong with the story. I just lost momentum at this point and moved on to other books. I would like to return at some point.

I feel like I'm losing interest in this story. It's good but the angst from the beginning of the series is gone as the couple have gone from being separate to being together with some good news on the way. I think that says more about me as a reader than about how good the story is. It really is compelling but there are too many other good books that are distracting me. Will see if I return to this.
